George at 5 weeks

We were very lucky to have these photos of George taken by local photographer Sue McLeod. Sue was very patient with both George and Zoe over the two hours she was here. Our boy has been very unsettled (and unhappy) for weeks, so there was lots of stopping to pick him up for cuddles and feeds. You can check out Sue's work at www.suzephotography.com

Two weeks old

Am blogging with baby cradled in one arm, and a DVD of old cartoons running for Zoe in the corner of the computer screen...so will be brief. George is an excellent little fellow, and up until 3 nights ago he just slept all the time, waking to feed and have his nappy changed every 3-5 hours. Things have been more unsettled the last few nights, probably his first growth spurt? Not much fun for me, but it was expected, ans I have been trying to rest a little bit during the day. Zoe adores her little brother, and is very possessive, which is pretty consistent with her age (she won't share). She is also learning to be gentle ;-)
