Topsy turvy

Methinks baby Zoe is having a 'growth spurt' at the moment. That's the only explanation I have for the relatively erratic feeding times and accompanying grizzles. Wish it all didn't happen between 130am and 530am though. Great news is that she seems to have some control over her hands - is starting to independently gripping things such as blankets/clothes and her dog toy [likeness of a dog, not designed for one].

My Dad, Zoe's Pa, is visiting at the moment, which is lovely for the both of them. Luckily for Pa, Zoe is willing to be cradled in his arm or sit on his lap for extended periods of time while he reads the papers or watches the news on TV, without too much complaint. This is how I think Dad expects babies to behave. Shame he is always out or asleep when she is at her most beligerent. Will post a photo of the two of them soon.

Hi Sharen

I can totally relate to the grizzly period between 1.30-5.30am - little Maya did something similar last night from 3-4am, and she's only 3 weeks old!! I am wondering if I will ever sleep normally again?

Noah and I are wondering about your 'maybe' offer on a rural block? Where is it? talk soon
