We gave it all we had at the auction yesterday - which was fast and furious - but pulled out at what we felt was the maximum value of the house, allowing another young family to win. Post-auction we were a little deflated, which was probably due to all those endorphins dropping so quickly, but had justified our actions by mid afternoon. After all, as we keep telling ourselves, the streets are full of houses. I'd like to think I can have a break from the whole home ownership quest for a while, but there is something strangely compelling about the process...
We've had my youngest sister visiting this week, which has been fantastic. Zoe is coping pretty well with the flurry of social activity, and clearly adores her Aunty Melissa. Here's a photo of them with cousin Ella.

Another lovely photo - Melissa you look fabulous!
Bummer you missed out on the house Sharen but you're right - there's plenty more out there! Also a major bummer that interest rates are set to rise :-(
Keep on looking - I can tell you're in nesting mode! Go for it!
Love Kirsty
